Every day now I call out, "I'll be in the Garden" and I run out the door. It's a busy time of year and there is always something that needs accomplished in the yard. We have had nightly freeze warnings for the past couple of nights so we haven't planted anything much but there are bricks to move, weeds to pull, and dreams of what this years garden will look like.
I don't take my phone with me ..I'll just call them when I return. It's a peaceful place if I remember to take time to smell the roses.
The girls always know to give me something for the gardens for Mothers Day. They know their Mother very well and I love it!
Oldest daughter gave me this birdhouse mansion. Some birds have already made a nest.
Here is my Clematis Vine that youngest daughter bought me for Mothers Day. She still wants to buy me a few more herbs or flowers to plant this week after the cold weather has past.

What lovely gifts! You will be able to enjoy them for many years.
I always bought my Mom flowers every year. She loved mounds of impatiens under the bushes.
I asked for dirt this year for my raised beds. :)
Love the birdhouse!
Oh I love your Mother's day gifts. Your garden is so lovely.
My son leaves it to his wife. My husband leaves it to me....so I guess I should buy whatever I want! My son works 12 hour days Sunday through Wednesday plus his in-laws were with him all weekend so he didn't call. But he called Monday night & talked to me for over an hour. Even though we live close & I babysit for them, we don't really get to just talk so that was nice.
Yep you can never go wrong with flowers 💐.and I understand dirt..good call! Great present!
Yep, husband buys me flowers Jenny..I'm right there with him and he will say pick out what you want and then tells me to get what cake I want. Oh well he means well and the love is still there. My dad used to send my sister after mom's present. I ordered husbands mom's present after he approved and she loved it. He does get the Christmas presents himself.
So many Moms I know are so disappointed because we expect more..even just a call. We just want to be appreciated. It can hurt though.
We have had Such fun watching the birds making their homes already!
Love your birdhouse mansion! Have a blessed week!
