Free Kindle Books for Today 5/18/21 Plus An Exhausting Day!

Oh man, we killed ourselves so to speak yesterday.  I decided before we did anything else we needed to clean the chicken run. It's warm but not hot here and I knew that this would be a job.  Well, after two hours we felt like we could never move again. Luckily I knew it would be hard to get it done so I planned a very easy dinner.

We did the rest of our garden chores and then along came the grandkids. We helped them with their scooters and four wheelers.  It was fun but exhausting.   Alone at last we watched t.v. and tried to relax.  When we got up to go to bed we slowly got up off the couch and put one foot in front of the other.  Then after a few steps we both gained up speed and began to walk like normal people our age.  We finally made it to the bed and collapsed.  I haven't heard anything but snores from him since.

How's it going in your neck of the woods?

Busy with grandson Rowan today. We made cupcakes and frosting. He likes to add the ingredients. Played in the sprinkler, took a walk, played with toy cars, and had lots of pretend time. What a joy! But, I'm exhausted. haha! Have a great week!

Smart woman Jenny..so smart! We have since calmed down. The chicken ladder fell back down again after we fixed it and the grandson crawled in and fixed it for us. Help that's what we need is help.
