Free Kindle Books for Today 5/28/21 Plus Grandkids!

I was retelling this story to one of my friends and I thought you would love to hear it too.

The grand girl found a big box of pretend food at a garage sale for $3.00 and we had a ball playing store and restaurant.  Towards the end of our play I thought I would have some fun out of her and I picked up the ketchup and mustard just before she came over to ask me would I like anything else.  As she came near I pretended to squirt it all over her face.  Oh man, she told me that I was never allowed back in her restaurant again.  I asked her what about the free pancakes tomorrow you just told me about and she sighed real big and said, "I just told you to never come back."   Don't mess with her.

On the grand boy front I asked him was he coming to my house for school Friday.  Last week he ended up on his couch doing school while Mom was working at home.  Really, he hasn't needed my math expertise in ages.  He said he would like to stay home again.  He said, "well I have my dog, my couch,  and my refrigerator.  That's everything I need."   Well, he's growing up but I'm sad.  I'll get him later maybe when I get the grand girl for her school.  I bet I could entice him with a McDonald's.

How's it going in your neck of the woods?

I'm so sorry to read that you're going to stop blogging! Your blog is one of the few I look forward to every day, and actually go looking for if I miss it. I hope you'll just take a rest, and come back when you're all restored. But, in any case, God's Blessings - and thanks so much for all the posts over the years!
