Signs of Spring and the Menu Plan 4/12/22!

Two of the first signs of Spring here in our house are the Crocuses are blooming and bodies are in pain from the outdoor work.  Lots to do in the yard and we have done a lot of sitting over the winter. It will all calm down or we will get used to it. One or the other!

There is so much to do that I think about what is more important and at the top of my list everyday.

My to do list:

Monday's are usually full of errands and we did some outdoor work.

Today:  The rest of the wallpaper came in for the porch so I'll get to that first.  It looks kind of funny half way done. Plant the rest of the candy cane onions, somewhere.   This evening I'll be planting more seeds.

Wednesday:  Taking youngest daughter on a surprise trip to Barnes and Noble (her favorite place). oh no I need a birthday card!   At night plant another tray of seeds.

Thursday:  Get out the ham to thaw for Sunday.  Wash the kitchen ceiling and cabinets.

Friday:   Grand Kids will be here..nothing major will be done. Planning a Easter scavenger egg hunt for them to find their Easter baskets.

Saturday:   Clean off the table for Easter Sunday dinner and clean house.   I usually have the last part of the table cleared off everyday so we can eat there.  My table is my work horse. Almost done!

Things will crop up here and there.  Never bored for long!

Menu:

Monday              Breakfast for dinner (sausage, eggs, toast)

Tuesday              Steak and potato

Wednesday         sloppy joes (birthday dinner)

Thursday            BBQ ribs

Friday                Beef noodles (leftover steak), mashed potatoes, and green beans.

Saturday            Left over meals in freezer.

Sunday              Easter Sunday Dinner!  Ham, scalloped potatoes, corn, rolls.  Haven't made up my mind about dessert.

Breakfasts:   Leftover sausage, eggs, waffles, and oats

Lunch, you are on your own.

According to how much energy and time I have this menu could change at any time (sometimes it's much to the delight of my husband). Looks good though doesn't it?

I had paperwork on my table - got that all cleared off and up.
Sounds like you are keeping busy. Don't over do it!

The table is the best place to do things in Cheryl. I'm going to make headway soon!
