FAMILY CAMP is a faith-based family comedy from The Skit Guys, opening in theaters May 13. While there should be an endless supply, it sure feels as if we are running low on hope these days. FAMILY CAMP combines hope with humor and Him in an encouraging movie.
When their pastor encourages the congregation to sign-up for a week away at family camp, Grace (Leigh-Allyn Baker) believes she’s found the perfect cure for her imperfect clan—even if they’d all rather be anywhere but at rustic Camp Katokwah.
It's a fun and funny movie for the whole family everyone from 8 to 80. The cast includes The Skit Guys—Tommy Woodard and Eddie James—along with Leigh-Allyn Baker (“Good Luck Charlie”), Gigi Orsillo, Robert Amaya (“Courageous”), Cece Kelly, Mark Christopher Lawrence, and social media sensation / comedian Heather Land.
I loved all the characters of FAMILY CAMP, they were so true to life. From the perfect Christian Family to the family struggling to find a connection with each other and God, I felt I was right there with them.
There were so many moments I enjoyed in this movie. The laugh out loud moments connected with the right to the heart moments just perfect. Then there was the oh no, (slap on the head), don't do that moments, that kept me on the edge of my seat.
It all wrapped up to one delightful movie I think the whole family would enjoy. Just perfect!
