Frugal Friday 7/15/22!

Sorry I'm a little late today.   Really I don't have anything too much going on except what I've done today.

I harvested a big basket full of onions.

I also harvested some garlic.  Not a lot, but really we don't use a lot.

We went to some garage sales this morning.  I found this storage cabinet for $15.00.  He marked it down from $25.00.  I needed one for outside chicken stuff storage really bad.   I'm so happy and so is the husband.   I looked on Amazon and also looked in Menards and decided I was going to make him clean out one of his so I could use it.

I also found some brand new school clothes for grandson.  I bought 4 t-shirts and 2 warm up pants for $9.00.  Some still had the tags on them.   I hope I find more like that for both of them.

What a great find! Clothes are through the roof so I am sure your daughter is glad you found the school clothes.

I saved a bunch on a toothpaste restock on Prime day and paid about $19 for six tubes of our Tom's brand. It is $6,99 each at the store now. Fluoride gives me a migraine so we have few choices.

We canned six more jars of dry beans this week and emptied out two storage jars. This means we will actually use these up. Hubby ran to the discount grocery and came home with a case of Grands Cinnamon rolls which we will use for small group here for 8.99, .75 a can. Also two cartons of cottage cheese for $1 each, two packs of plain Pepperidge Farm bagels for $1 each, frozen Pillsbury cheddar biscuits and a head of cabbage for .39 a pound. I got busy and made those bagels into breakfast sandwiches. I figure 12 huge breakfast sandwiched with egg and meat and cheese cost us about $8 because everything was bought on sale or at a deep discount. Hubby was grinning as he took them to the freezer in the garage.

Kohl's had free shipping on Prime Day so I clicked over there to look at clearance and found that I had left 4 long sleeve tees for me in the cart. The price had gone down to 3.05 each so ka-ching I checked out and have new tees for this fall.

Have a great weekend!

Practical, I found that same one last night on Amazon for $253.00. I need to work on my patience in finding great deals a bit more though.
