What We Bought at a Estate Sale for $450.00!

We went for a drive to find garage sales and happened upon an estate sale on Saturday.   It was the second day of the sale so it was 1/2 half.   We started looking around and the first thing I saw was a big screen t.v.  (60 inch) for $50.00.  Husband fell in love of course.  Do all men love the large t.v. screens?  It was an LG but not a smart t.v. but he didn't care.  So far it's working perfect!

Yep, those are coasters ...husband turned around the support things on the bottom so it would fit on our t.v. stand.   Then it was leaning forward so we thought of our coasters till we can go to the store.  I mean no one uses them right?

Then I walked past this dinning room table and china cabinet for $250.00.   I hollered at him as  he was hollering at me from the bedroom.  He walked  back to where I was  and we bought it.  It's a light colored oak and very heavy, solid as a rock.  It's all matching and we love it.

The last table we had we bought for $250.00 also at garage sale about 15 or 20 years ago and we were given the china cabinet a few years later.  They didn't match but they served the purpose.

Then the bedroom:

The bedroom set was $150.00 half off and we grabbed it up.  It's a  queen bed, two nightstands, and a dresser.   Oh man, this thing was beyond heavy.

Don't mind the clothes on the dresser, moving everything out on Saturday was a big job!  I think it will take the rest of the week to put everything back in order!

So for around $450 we bought a lot of new to us furniture that didn't have a scratch on it.  We didn't even have to wait 6 months or more to order furniture like a lot of us are having to do now.

There are deals out there right now for sure!  Keep looking!

...We hired the neighbor to help us move it all.  Next time we will hire 2 men and a truck!

..I've had to change the figures on this after I looked in my checkbook!
