Going up north has always kind of freaked us out. The long traffic lines ended up being a nightmare for us. I think the whole lower part up Michigan is up there on this weekend! So we've always stayed near home or went south, the opposite direction, for a day. It's very quiet around here this morning.
This Labor Day weekend will be kind of mixture of work and play for us:
First up:
I'm going to can some tomatoes. That really shouldn't take too long. I have two zucchini that I need to do something with too.
Yes, that's a fan in the window bringing in some cool air this morning. This afternoon that said it will reach 90.
A peak into my dirty fridge.. nope I'm not going to lighten this picture up, LOL! I have already cleaned two shelves. One of the shelves that hold the milk on the side broke lose yesterday. It can no longer hold the milk jug. Oh yeah, now I have to mop the floor.
Finally, the fun part will be going to Debuck's Sunflower Farm on Saturday and a picnic on Sunday or Monday. I bought some spare ribs so it will be BBQ ribs and hamburgers for the grandkids.
What are you going to do this weekend?

Hoping you have a great weekend. Nothing special here - just another day. Saying it may rain off and on all weekend - that is OK as it is needed.
Cheryl we are scheduled for rain tomorrow night. Hope it comes. I hope you have a wonderful weekend too!
The sunflower farm sounds like fun! We are going to a HUGE consignment sale and I’m very excited about that. 😊
Our man, a sale... yes that would be fun. Hope you find good stuff and are able to sell yours too!
Ooooh, the milk catastrophe! A sunflower farm sounds fun!
Oh you know it..a whole gallon. Sometimes you just can't believe what happens Practical, there are no words!
Sounds like a fun weekend, well except for the fridge and milk. Hope you have a great time at the farm and yum on the spareribs.
