I almost forgot, we were visited by a mink on the boardwalk. This is something I never seen before. It's like a small squirel with fur. He would come and take away our very small fish.
I bought 2 of the rotisserie chickens and the rest of the deal. I made two big chicken fajita freezer meals out of the one and we had the other for dinner.

So far this past week I was able to get two green peppers, 6 cukes, and two large zucchinis for free. People sit them out in front of their driveway on a table for free. You gotta love that.
Now to make some zucchini bread.
How's it going at your house? How have you saved this week?

Your trip sounds like fun. A lighthouse would be neat to visit.
How cute - I have never seen a mink out in the wild. Guess nothing like that here.
What a deal from GFS on the chicken.
Cheryl, I didn't even know what that mink was...I had never seen one! So cute.
Have a good weekend!
Sounds like a wonderful relaxing vacation! I love lighthouses although I don't like climbing up them. ;)
How fun to see a mink in the wild. What a great deal on the chicken meal. Yummy.
Have a great weekend.
Kathy, funny how I would love to do that when my legs gets better but it's very narrow they say. I'm glad I got to see the living quarters.
We are back to work here at home now...no more relaxing..too much ha ha
You have a great weekend too!
Your trip does sound like fun, Vickie, and how neat to get to see the lighthouse! I've never seen a mink either, how neat that you got to see one. That was a great deal at Gordons. I always get their big can of black olives when we go there as I love them on multiple dishes here. We used to have a Ben Franklin in Lemont where I grew up in Illinois. It was one of our favorite stores back then.
Belinda, The only thing that I don't like in Ben Franklin now is that they don't have crafts, sewing etc. I'm not sure why they stopped by it was fun looking at those things to do.
I wish there was one close by us...I would probably be there every day.
Gordon's has some great deals here and there. Have a great week!
