It's been beautiful this past few days in Michigan but the ground is too cold to plant. Today though we will get started by burning the brush in the garden. This is always so enjoyable somehow. I think just the thoughts of being able to garden in 3 to 4 weeks makes me happy! Fresh produce from your backyard can't be beat.
The smoker will be going too, filled with some great pork chops. We were able to get a pork loin at Meijer yesterday for $1.59 a pound and frozen chicken breast with a coupon for $2.00 a pound. We had the meat department cut up the pork loin into pork chops for us.
Sunday Smoked Pork chops
Monday Hamburger Stew (I made this last week and ended up with pot of stew all by myself. I froze for this week).
