My Frugal Ways this Past Week 10/18/15

Herbs in the Window -Vickie's Kitchen and Garden
Rosemary, thyme, and lemon verbena

We skipped over Fall yesterday and went right to winter when it snowed for the first time.  I made sure brought in my herbs from the patio and replanted them for indoor use just before the hard freeze Friday night. I debated about doing this because I had heard that bugs might come in with the plants.  So far I've not seen any. The lemon verbena looks very scraggly so I hope it makes it.

Sold an item on craigslist.  This took a couple of weeks but it was worth the wait!

We didn't eat out last week. I have to admit that we had gotten into the habit of eating out at least once a week. It was amazing how much money that we saved!  We even skipped the coffee and tea at McDonald's.  It was just too tempting.

I remade the top to the grandkids wagon. I used a coupon for Joanne's and it only cost approximately $5.00 for some duck material.  I should have enough left for a small pillow.

Jeans found at outlet for $5.97 a piece! Vickie's Kitchen and Garden

I bought my jeans for $5.97 a piece at an outlet store and daughter gave me 3 new tops.

We accepted two big bags full of clothes for beautiful grandbaby from the neighbors. These will be very helpful because she is growing like a weed!
