My Frugal Ways this Past Week 10/25/15

Our Fall color tour -Vickie's Kitchen and Garden

We bought 50 lb of potatoes for $7.50 and 5 lb bag of onions for $5.00 when we went up north.   It was kind of a stock up day and Fall Color Tour all in one.

Husband plowing the garden-Vickie's Kitchen and Garden

Planted garlic in our recently plowed garden.  This is my first time planting garlic and it will be fun watching it grow next Spring. It's exciting to learn something new.

Hemmed two pair of jeans (I'm a shorty).

I got lost in two free kindle books this past week.  It seemed as though we were busy this week so I read two novellas.  I really liked Out of the Blue.  Unfortunately, it is no longer free.

Took back my empty ink cartridges to Staples for a coupon
of $2.00 a piece.

Brought back leftovers from Church potluck for youngest daughter.

I made 3 dish scrubbies with netting I bought with a half off coupon from Joanne's.
