I used green onions from my spring garden in my chicken salad.
Last night I hemmed one pair of the jeans I bought at a garage sale. Sewing is a great activity when it's too hot outside (so is reading).
Received a full sized sample of deodorant I sent for in the mail.
I made 4 loaves of homemade french bread (froze 2).
I used my $10 off $10 J C Penny coupon and my Staples coupon for returning used ink cartridges ($6.00). I bought toilet paper that was on sale.
I received a $5.00 gift card for Burger King from Swagbucks
Cut my bangs and they still look good this morning!
What was on the Dinner Table last week:
Monday Lasagna (frozen make ahead meal)
Tuesday Left over lasagna with homemade garlic bread.
Wednesday Chicken in the crock pot
Thursday Out to eat- Field Trip with grandson
Friday Chicken salad (recipe soon)
Saturday Leftover chicken salad (really too hot to eat)
Sunday Ham and Cheese Omelettes and Potato Cakes
My Goals for this week:
In the garden:
Weed the vegetable garden.
Clean up the flower bed from all the spring blooms.
Weed around the rocks in the back of the house and put more rocks down if necessary.
In the home:
Clean the refrigerator (one of my most dreaded jobs)
Hem the other pair of jeans I bought at a garage sale.
Blog:
Write a book review.
Work on Instagram.
Keep working on an important blog post for the end of the month (more on this later).
