My Frugal Ways this Past week,What Was On the Dinner table and My Goals for the Week 7/17/16

Here is a list of the frugal ways I've saved this past week.

Walking down to the lake -Vickie's Kitchen and Garden

I started walking every evening down to the lake and back. Free exercise is always good!

I found some pretty bows for presents and 6 pint sized canning jars for free at garage sales.  It's always fun for me to look in the free box I never know what I'll find.

Made grilled chicken breast for make ahead meals.

I harvested my garlic.

I also harvested sage, rosemary, zucchini, and couple of small ripe tommy toe tomatoes (the tomatoes never made it back in the house). I used the sage and rosemary in my grilled rosemary pork chops.

The zucchini is coming on strong now.  I gave some to my daughter and then froze some for later use.

I completed the survey on my Kroger receipt for extra fuel points.

Menu

Monday       Goulash

Tuesday       Steak on the grill (cheap steak but good)

Wednesday  Steak fajitas

Thursday      Grilled pork chops  I used fresh herbs from the garden (sage, rosemary) to make this recipe.

Friday           Grilled hamburgers

Saturday       Out to Eat

Sunday          Casserole (frozen make ahead meal)
