My New Diet Plan



I'm going to be honest with you and tell you that I've tried everything to lose weight this past year.   It's been a roller coaster -stay the same, down a couple pounds, and then up a couple of pounds. Whatever I've tried has not worked. My mind just won't stay on special food diets or calorie counting.  My life is packed and I have to admit to myself diets are just too much work for me right now.  Do you ever feel that way?



I talked with a friend this past week who has had success with losing weight by walking. Simple walking.  So I started by walking to the lake and last night I have worked my way up to about 2 1/2 miles.

I decided what would it hurt if I walked a little. I would be fit if nothing else.  Then I noticed an added benefit last night.  The tension in my shoulders started to unwind and I started to feel good. No costly massages for me.  This may be a good thing.  





Sometimes though it's kind of scary to walk down this path.  I'm afraid I won't stick with this new exercise routine. Maybe though by telling you I can hold myself accountable.  I can do this -no excuses!
