My thoughts:

A Mother's Love was a book that I didn't want to put down. Page after page I was drawn into the lives of the young mother Rose and her precious daughter. With the wonderful descriptions I could imagine the surrounding country side as though I was there.

Charlotte Hubbard drew me in with the circumstances that resulted in Rose grieving for some many loved ones. Many of us have been bombarded some years with tragedy after tragedy so we can very well relate to the deep grief she had (at least I can).

I was so impressed with young Rose who was a strong and was such a hard worker.  She had respect for her elders but yet did what she felt was best.

I loved that the main focus of this book, A Mother's Love, was forgiveness and love.  Such a perfect book for Mother's Day!
A wonderful, wonderful read!
