I made the menu plan last week and completely forget to include eating out (we include that in our budget once a week).  My husband promptly reminded me of this on Thursday night when he came home from the store with a long sub sandwich to put in the fridge. He was ready for me to take it easy in the kitchen on Friday and plus he has been wanting to try out the new sub resturant!  Really though, how could I refuse? So the menu plan was changed.  All in all though I stuck to the basic plan pretty well for the first week.

My Menu Plan for 9/4/17!

Monday          Eating out

Tuesday          Chicken Fajitas (with onions and peppers from the garden) and Hamburgers for the grand children

Wednesday     Tacos made at home

Thursday         Ham (bought on sale from the last holiday we had), Mashed potatoes, green beans, tomato slices, and corn bread

Friday             Ham Sandwiches and potato chips.

Saturday         Pork Chops just fried down brown, fried cabbage, mashed potatoes, and biscuits.

Sunday           Ham and Cheese Omelettes, hash browns, and toast

My tips for this week's menu:

Don't be afraid to be flexible and switch days if it makes life easier.

Don't forget to put eating out on the menu if you include that in your budget!

Have leftover days!

Breakfast for dinner is easy and a frugal meal.

What's on your menu?
