This morning was all about getting some things ready for the week. My husband made a quick trip to Aldi's last night and came back with a watermelon. I like to cut it up and put it in a bowl for everyone.
The rinds go in the compost -the juice goes on my housecoat. Oh the carbs, oh my I didn't realize the carbs in watermelon. I can't give this up in the summer so I'll just try not to eat so much.
I washed and dried lettuce leaves and celery. I like to put my celery stalks in a glass with water. They seem to last longer that way. The lettuce once it's drier will go in a ziploc bag to use for salads or sandwiches.
Now after I did all that I let you know we are eating out today! Ha ha. We decided to eat out last night when I couldn't stay up past 9:30!
Menu for this week 7/23/18
Monday Eat out (we put this in our budget-it's like my husband makes dinner-plus we have coupons!)
Tuesday Chicken salad (maybe on a wrap) and baked sweet potato with green beans
Wednesday Tuna wraps and soup
Thursday Enchiladas (low carb) This looked like a good one
Friday Leftovers
Saturday Hot dogs and beans or sauerkraut
Sunday Spaghetti with zucchini noodles
