I had the prettiest picture of our cat looking at the window, then he moved.  Just like a kid.

The weather here has changed and it was amazing how it got so cold, so fast here.  One day it was Fall, no really one day it was Fall, then we woke up to snow on the ground. So far we have been lucky and the snows have melted by mid day.  I think it's just giving us a touch of things to come.  Really though I just need it to go back to Fall, so I  can rake the leaves.

Here are the ways I've saved this past week:

I filled up my oven with 6 smaller size pumpkins (I threw the rest in the garden), a spaghetti squash, and a casserole.

I crocheted 5 dish scrubbies.

I stayed withing our grocery budget. I also completed  a Kroger survey for more fuel points.

We went to Outback steakhouse on our date and spent $17.00 for two steak dinners.  I was able to buy a $5 off $10 Gift card through AARP and we had a $4 coupon off twenty.

We went  to an estate sale yesterday and I bought some cleaning supplies for $10.  This is how I buy a lot of my cleaning supplies when I can find them.  I bought two boxes of SOS pads (1 opened and one new),  two cascade liquid dish-washer liquid (both new),  Finish dish-washer tablets (about half the box was gone),  1 wax paper (new),  parchment paper roll (new),  Plastic Wrap (new), Mr. Clean sponges (new),  Pledge hand mitts (opened), and Scrubbing Bubbles (3/4 of the way full).  I paid an extra $1.00 for the Christmas tin.

I love learning new things and this winter weather has me watching youtube more. My favorites this week are: How to Get FREE Blueberry Plants from Store Bought Blueberries! and One cute couponer Dollar General deals.

Goals for this week:

Make pie crusts for Thanksgiving to freeze.

Make blueberry jelly (we ran out of strawberry jam).

What are the ways you saved this week?
