I Made a Mask ....at 4 in the Morning!
Image may contain: indoor
I seem to wake up in the middle of the night and then eventually go back to sleep but last night back to sleep didn't happen.  So, I finally gave up and decided to make a mask like the one that Rhonda made.  She directed me to the pattern here.  Turned out great and it was easy, so this will be my go to pattern from now on.

Then I fell back to sleep on the couch with the cat.  One of us needs to lose weight, just sayin.

Three AM is my wake up time. It is so frustrating to just lay there! Last night we went to our favorite locally owned seafood place for dinner and it was so wonderful to be back there. The food was the same and so good. Then we saw that our favorite breakfast spot was opening up this morning and so we went. We have eaten breakfast there for about 12 years and we are like family there. (When we come in the door the Greek Papa hollers to us, 'Come, Come. You no wait! Yous family!) We were very sad to see that they had completely changed the menu and the prices were way up and the food just not the same. We are afraid that this will put them out of business. So sad and we cannot think why they did that.

I'll have to try that.

Oh no Lana, maybe they lost so much money they are trying to make it up.
I'm glad you were able to go out though.

I’m glad the mask pattern worked for you. We wear our masks whenever we are out but are dismayed that so few others are.
I got the last book you linked. Thanks!

Great job on the mask, but I'm sorry you weren't able to sleep. Hope tonight is a better rest.
I got the cat book. Sounds fun. Thanks.

I know it's wild how some people aren't wearing a mask. I'm kind of shocked sometimes at the # of people that are not. thanks so much for directing me to the pattern. It's so much better than the ones I had been making. Glad you found a book!

Oh I love cats...I should get that book too! I'm gonna try to stay up later and see if that works.
