It's quiet here this morning.  The storm passed through leaving nice cool breezes.  We were able to turn off all the fans and air conditioner.  Just a lovely, lovely morning.

I Kind of Freaked Out

I kind of freaked out I'll admit yesterday.  Listen, I came down with a sore throat and a tingling cough and just knew I was really sick, if you know what I mean.   Husband calmed me down by reminding me of raking all the grass and cleaning that dusty garage (poor thing he has to put up with a wild wife).

I'm much better today (in body and mind) after staying away from both of them.     Listen how scary it must be to find out you have this virus.   I pray that we all stay well.

Thanks, I'm feeling so much better. Your name always make me smile. my sister's name started with a K too. It kind of made the name Kathy stand out from the crowd for her.

I understand that freaking out. People tell me that all the time since I treat friends in my home after I was trained in kinesiology. We actually had it even before all the lock down started. It was not really a big deal for us. We were really tired and had sore throats and headaches. No cough or shortness of breath or any really bad symptoms. I do realize that it is not so easy for everyone but most of our family has actually had it including my 81 year old Mom and had no adverse affects.

I'm so glad you're feeling better, Vickie. That would be frightening to think that you had the virus. Glad it wasn't that!

I did the same thing last weekend. I've always considered myself a reasonable person but goodness....I was pretty sick for a few hours on Saturday. I was pleading with God for it not to be the virus. Cases have really risen in our area. People are not staying home & not wearing masks.

But by the evening I was feeling better. I was able to get a grip on myself. My husband thinks all my precautions are over reactions. He refuses to wear a mask but thankfully he doesn't like to go anywhere anyway. He pretty much stays home or goes to work. And he has always religiously washed his hands & never touches his face.

I'm glad you felt better too. This virus makes us think twice about common ailments. I'll try not to freak out next time but I can't guarantee it haha! There is probably nothing you can do about your husband but he is staying safe at home so that's a good thing. Have a great day Jenny.

I had a similar experience a couple of weeks ago but I realized it was allergies as my eyes were watering and itching too. Glad you are okay.

Your weather seems to be a day behind ours here.

Yes that tropical storm came all the way to Michigan. So glad the heat is gone. I'm definitely a northern girl.
