I wish I had something exciting to report but no, same old stuff. Just a run to the health food store. Your Amish store trip would be an awesome day for us!

SNICKERING...I don't leave Amish country much since I live in the middle of a group of 20 plus families. There are a couple Mennonite stores but most the Amish don't shop there. They don't buy much groceries besides flour, etc.

Have fun!!
Hope you find some great deals.

Honestly, I'd rather buy most of my groceries rather than work myself into an early grave. I know everyone thinks their ways are so noble but I am not of that opinion.

It was a great drive and we got some great deals. Sometimes I need a escape from working and home all the time so it felt good. A run to the health food store can be exciting for me too Lana.

Chef I would love to live in your area. I'm always looking for deals so it would be fun to go more often to the Amish store. You certainly are blessed! This one is a drive for us so it's a two for One day! Kind of like a date.
One of the stores we go to is a old order Amish scratch and dent and the other is Menonite. Great deals at both! The Mennonite store has great deals on bulk foods and meat. Since we only have a acre in the city we stock up when we go. Last time I went I was able to get a great price on yeast. They also have every spice, dry bean, flour, vegetable, etc. you could possibly want.
Do we see Amish and Mennonite shopping there? Yes we do quite a few but mostly it's people like us looking for deals and finding them. It was well worth the drive.
