Today is the day that we are installing the new bathtub and surround.  Finally!  In case you were not following me before, it wasn't long after the lockdown that our bathtub developed quite a crack.  We fixed it temporarily with flex tape and started researching new bath tubs.  It was a eye-opening journey for sure.

We found the bathtub and surround that we wanted at Menard's but we had to order them.  That took quite awhile and we finally got everything in about 3 or 4 weeks ago.  There was the vacation thing then there was getting on our handy man's calendar.  Hopefully nothing pops up (you know how that goes) and we will see him today.  He is a good handy man who has a full work schedule from floods to flying squirrels in an attic.

By the way, I highly recommend flex tape.  We have only used one piece and it has held up this long.

What's going on in your neck of the woods?

Oh I'm glad you will get your new tub! I'm glad the flex tape worked too.

Hope the bathtub change over goes smoothly.

I am so glad you are getting that done and that the tape held! We are having a new downstairs heat pump and duct work this week. Yesterday it was yellow jackets stinging the workers so we had to get a pest control company out to take care of that. Almost no work done. This morning they broke the water line coming from the well to the tank under the house so we have no water. They are having a plumber come to fix that. Let me tell you, getting the duct work out is LOUD! But, no water means no bathrooms. I am wishing an easier install for you!

I believe we found it at Menards but I'm sure you could get it at any home improvement store.

Oh I'm so glad for you. I hope it goes quickly.

We went blackberry picking again this morning at our local orchard. The weather has been absolutely amazing...upper 70s, no humidity...it is unreal for us this time of year. We have one more day of glorious temps then the dog days return.

I'm still processing a few pints of tomatoes a week & eating the rest.

You can go BlackBerry picking at your orchard? I didn't know that...so cool.
We are very cool in the 60s..fans are off and I'm under a blanket. Loving every minute of it!

Good to know about Flex tape. I see the commercials and wondered if it really worked. Have a great week! :-)

Yes, it's an old orchard that grows so many things besides peaches, pears & apples. They have blueberries, strawberries & blackberries. I should have taken my grandson picking for blueberries & strawberries....those are his favorite fruits.

Oh that sounds like a wonderful orchard! Just the blackberries alone sound so good. Kids love to get out there and pick. Next time you'll get the chance.
