Did we go too much?

I've noticed since the boy's been virtual schooling at our house that we are getting more things done.  Some are big things but the small things we are organizing and fixing have been amazing.

He has breaks when he reads, when he works on his to do list, and lunch.  Then of course he has tech ed, gym, music, and art so there is really nothing we can do for him during those hours.  Most of the time we are there just to make sure he stays on track.

We take those breaks and work on something little like, cleaning out the furnace room, spice rack, pantry, refrigerator etc., and I also read when he does, do some crocheting, and embroiderer when I just sit there.

I miss our outings (I also miss naps), but some times I wonder lately if we might have been going a little too much.    Anyway it's getting done!

Sounds like you are getting things done, even while teaching grandboy. That's great!
I feel like I am spinning my wheels lately, and I miss outings. :(
Hope you have a good weekend.

That's great that you are getting things done while he is working on school. I miss going out too, but hopefully we are doing the right thing for now.

Dr Fauci just said Fall of 22 would be pretty much completely back to normal. Pandemics run 2 years of spring and fall. SIGH.
I do NOT miss going, my brother has went stir crazy and has cabin fever bad. Our parents , especially Mother and Pop(stepdad) would have went bonkers.I am more like my Grandpa and Aunt Hazel. Pantry full, heat and light, my dogs and books to read...I am fine. I do miss family get togethers.

It is always so nice to check those small jobs off the list. We have been working on the pantries and food storage areas and it is so good to get those things done.

I think we will all need to learn to be more comfortable at home before this is over.
