The soup beans are in the crockpot, Ham is ready to go in the oven, and the husband said he would be peeling the potatoes. I'm even going to make a puff pastry apple pie. The diet is a little off today!
So where do I go with this ham this week? Ham and cheese omelets, au gratin potatoes with ham, and ham sandwiches (there is no bone). It was a great price at the Amish store. I'm all for less work and money!
What are you plans for dinner today or just let me know how it's going in your neck of the woods.

Chili here per son's request. Fine with me. It is easy. We still have birthday cake and sliced strawberries. So easy cooking night here. Ann
Yum on the ham and beans and apple pie. That sounds sooo good! And I love ham leftovers.
I bought some pork chops on sale, so I think I am going to fix glazed pork chops with apples.
I'm struggling with supper tonight...who knows what it will be. I sometimes get this way near the end of the week from watching my grandson. Today was day four...it might be soup again.
As cold as it is today...chili would have been great. Happy birthday if that was you Ann! I love easy cooking!
I love it when you can cook something and then turn it into several meals! I might just have some Irish oatmeal for supper. I ate a very late lunch. My daughter gave me a "jar of noodles" that she prepared. I didn't know it was "a thing". I'm out-of-the-loop. The last "food fad" of this type that I knew about was the overnight refrigerator oatmeal, which I never did try. Anyway, it was in a pint mason jar and all I did was add boiling water and let it set for 10 minutes. Then, I twirled the jar round and round to mix up the herbs and fresh spinach in the noodles. It was very tasty! It was quite filling, so I think a small dish of hot cereal will be just right for a late, light supper.
So funny husband started digging in he freezer and said we needed to use it up. He's right too.
He said pork chops were next ..your glazed pork chops sound so good!
I've been there too Jenny. We survived on hot dogs for dinner...a lot. I should have done soup though because it seems healthier.
I'm out of the loop too. Never heard of it but it sounds wonderful and easy! Have a good night Kay.
