Frugal Friday ..Garage Sale!

 Happy Fourth of July!

We spent our Thursday having a garage sale.  The backyard, garage, and house looks so much better and we made some money! To tell the truth, I was worried in the morning that everyone had gone broke because no one had really showed up except the next door neighbor but by noon everything was hopping.

We ended up selling almost everything so we decided one day was enough.  I love that, now we can concentrate on having a good Fourth of July weekend.  Not that we really have anything great planned but it's nice to relax and watch the fireworks.

I posted hints on having a great garage sale that you can read here.

Now, we are totally exhausted the week was long, so this post will be short.

How did you save money this week?  Do you have anything great planned for the weekend?

That's great! We got so many grocery deals this week. Our fridges and freezer are stuffed as is the pantry. Best deals were bacon for 2.50 a pound and baby back ribs for 1.99 a pound.

Cheryl, we can buy something we need now! Maybe groceries!

Lana, I'm totally jealous of your great deals! I bet that feels good.

When we lived in Pikeville we always had at least one yard sale per summer. They were loads of exhausting work, but so much fun. All our neighbors would come over and visit. And the money was always a plus. 😊

Your right it was so good to talk to the neighbors...everyone bought something. Money was definetly a plus! I'm exhausted now though!
