This past week I felt more at peace and I had a chance to write about how I survived a tiresome week. We all need to learn we can not do it alone!
It was so fun to get in the garden last week and still be able to harvest quite a bit this late in the season. Although I think it's just about over and the clean up needs to begin this week. I ended up canning 7 more quarts of mustard greens on Saturday.
Here is what I managed to get done last week:
Write another guest post- working on this now! I'm pretty much done and need to let my smart daughter Eva proofread it. She always talks about my run on sentences!
Continue to harvest Mustard Greens and can them towards the later part of the week. I canned 7 quarts (2 bushels) and would like to can another 7 this week. Without a good rain the mustard greens did not grow as well. Rain is in the forecast for tomorrow so hopefully they will be bigger later this week. I was able to can 7 quarts on Saturday!
Here is what I hope to accomplish this week:
Office Work
Write a book review.

Kitchen and Garden Work:
Start Cleaning Up the Garden. I'll be taking down the bean poles and pulling up the tomato cages.
Make up spice mixes that are getting low. Cooler weather has brought my cooking indoors. I need to make up chili seasoning next week. I made taco seasoning last week.
Start cleaning and sorting the pantry.
Personal Goals
Exercise in some form -yoga or walking as much as possible. I walked the beautiful grand baby in her stroller every day I had her. I'm not going to set a number I think just make sure I exercise as much as my schedule will allow.
Earn at least 15 Swagbucks a day. Since I've been doing this I've earned four $5.00 gift cards! Many times I just earn this by searching.
