Here are the ways I've saved this past week:
I didn't win a prize at the apple cooking contest but they did send us home with gifts and a cookbook. It was a lot of fun with some great live music to listen to while they were judging. I used a gc from Swag bucks for my Burger King meal and a free coupon for a subway sandwich for my daughter (bonus when I bought her a gift card for Christmas). So our dinner was free.
I received a bag of stevia from one of my readers, Sandra. Thanks so much! It came just when I needed it!
I was able to find some great deals on clearance at Kroger this past week.
I was blessed with a cart some one left at Aldi's.
We walked on the track at the church -free exercise
I saved the netting from the produce bags for the dish scrubbies I'm crocheting.
I forgot to mention I won a bottle of olive oil playing Kroger's Greats Game.
Menu Plan for next week:
Monday Just me and my husband today so we are going to make some of those steaks I found in the freezer! Cheap but good.
Tuesday Steak and Onion Sandwich with the extra steak I'm going to cook.
Wednesday Chili (just beans or made with any bits of leftover steak)
Thursday Leftovers
Friday Taco's
Saturday Hamburger stew
Sunday Grilled chicken on the inside grill, sweet potatoes, and corn.
Goals:
Transfer my recipe's to the new cookbook I found at a rummage sale last summer.
After I clean and organize the medicine cabinet this week the kitchen will be done spring cleaning!
What are the ways you've saved this past week?
