Right towards the end of homeschooling yesterday we lost internet service. Grandson smiled, I seriously think it made his day. Well, that is until he figured out he couldn't play any games on my computer, ha ha.
Runaway thoughts though kind of raced through my mind. You know, how sometimes you think about what could have happened and it's all bad. Well I'll admit, I fell into that trap! First thought was, did they get my payment? Next thought, did my husband while working on my house yesterday drill into something? You know, like those wireless wires. Oh man, then the next thought was, is the internet down everywhere? Then that thought led to, is everyone working there sick? Yep, the world was ending without the internet. Oh my goodness, I think I need rest!
I took the kids home and used the cell phone to talk to an agent. She had me back up in about 15 minutes. Something about clearing the cables lines and restarting the modem. I don't know but it's working.
My homeschooling lesson for yesterday? Keep calm and carry on. Jeez!
