I happened along these ribs on sale at Meijers and grabbed two.  Husband wants to smoke them, add BBQ sauce, and put them on the grill.  Sounds so good, so I'll let him do that!

He is getting them ready right now for the smoker. It takes 6 hours so I guess I'll have a noon sandwich or something. I can't quit thinking about them. ha ha Have a great week too Kathy

What a steal! We love ribs. I often just cut a rack in half, cook it slow & low in my crockpot with liquid smoke cumin, brown sugar(Splenda for dh) & garlic powder. When they're done I put them on a baking pan, brush with barbecue sauce & set under the broiler for about 5 to 10 minutes in the oven...watch, they burn fast. They are fall off the bone good & the broiler gives that crispy crust we love so much on ours. Plus this is so super easy.

I set up a little table & chair in my craft room for my grandson this morning & goodness it occupied him so well! He colored some but mostly he just played with his toys & didn't push to watch tv until almost nap time.

I joined a FB group called 'Weight-loss after 50'. I'm not sure it's going to help me much. I've gained so much weight during covid & have been very discouraged about how bad I feel. This week's goal with the group is to eat no processed foods at all. It's not a big change for me but it mainly means no frozen sausage patties, or granola bars...two things I eat quite often. I cannot make everything myself though so I am eating store bought yogurt, granola, condiments, ect.

We have a "Ribfest" celebration every summer and they held a virtual version this past weekend but I didn't go. You called in your order and then drove in to pick it up. I'm sure the ribs were delicious but it wouldn't be the same.
Had a lovely morning out with two friends walking through one of the huge public gardens we have in this city. This garden doesn't allow cyclists, joggers or dogs and there are no playgrounds - it really is all about the gardens - and it was magnificent! There were a lot of little ones out with parents and it was lovely to see them crossing the stream via some rocks - and being encouraged to do so by their parents, catching minnows and spotting some small fish in the sparkling clean water! It was about 77F with not a cloud in the skies so we really enjoyed it.

Your lovely words Margie had me strolling through the gardens with you and wishing there was a beautiful garden like that close by here. Just sounds so peaceful and beautiful.

I usually put them in the crockpot too then the grill though. The oven would be great for the winter if we have some..I'll remember that!
You never know what will spark the interest of grandchikdren. I love that!
I like the sounds of that group. I'm thinking for me no cereal, no bread, a lot of things I guess.
