Not the best picture but here is the project that I've been working on forever (2 years). I'm on embroidering the last square today (there were 24 panels)! Then I will piece it together and send it off to my friend Pat Lewis at Hand Made in Olde Towne and she will quilt it with her machine.
So, how did I finally get with it? I made sure every day I eeked out at least 30 minutes for crafting. Sometimes, it was an hour but most days with the homeschooling going on around here it's been just 30 minutes.
This is going to grand daughter. That means I'll need to do something for grandson...umm. I hope it doesn't take 2 years!
Have you been working on anything crafty?

That is a sweet piece and will be pretty all quilted. I have a cloth I need to get out and finish. I seriously started it as a teen!!!!! I put it away and forget it for years at a time.
I've been making Valentines & doing a little embroidery...nothing as ambitious as what you've done though. It's so beautiful!
It is so beautiful! I know she will treasure it always since her grandmother made it for her.
I haven't done much crafting lately, but I am trying needle felting which is sort of fun.
Oh that does sound like a lot of fun. I love trying new things too!
I'm like that too..I believe there are a few more things I need to finish as well. Keeps us busy Cheryl!
I bet your cards are very pretty! I always wanted to make cards.
how exciting to be getting the quit quilted. I've bought hankies from Pat before. She posts over on the Prudent homemaker blog and I see her talking about quilts she makes. So neat!
Vickie, I am so happy for you on your embroidery project! I'm sure it will be cherished by your granddaughter! I am doing a project, but not sure if you'd call it crafty. After totally going through and organizing all my books in my office shelves, I am now at the most fun part, which is adding framed photographs. I'm going through all the grandkids' pictures--those from school and other special ones--and putting my favorites in different frames and interspersing the pictures with the books. It's so much fun looking through my boxes of frames that I've collected and finding just the right one to go with each photo.
She is so busy and productive! Hard worker for sure.
Oh your project sounds fun. Going through pictures always makes me happy. Decorating is a lot of fun too!
