It's been awhile since we used the small rototiller, the Earthquake. Husband got it out and got through two rows of tomatoes before it quit. Needs a new carb, he said. I think fixing the machines is half the job of homesteading.
In the house we bought a new fridge (so glad) and now we need a new microwave. It was time for them both.
What did we do before microwaves to heat up things? I remember we didn't have one for a little while into our marriage. They sure are handy!

Your garlic and carrots look great! I have only had lettuce out of the garden, and since it is so hot, it will probably bolt soon. I should be able to pick a mess of beans next week.
I have a tiny little tiller, but I mostly have raised beds now. Glad your hubby is able to replace the carb. Handy husbands are the best!
Your birdhouse and holly bushes are so pretty. Yay on the new fridge and microwave too.

Happy 4th to you and your family. Oh so jealous you are getting a mess of beans already. Bean bugs were on mine...just put dust on them.
The holly bushes were planted instead of the over grown flowers. We are transitioning away from too much upkeep and need to raised beds like you.
