Menu Plan for the Week of 9/1/14

The menu got a little mixed up last week.  We ate out on Friday because I happened to find a deal that we had bought awhile ago and forgotten in our deal filing system.   It just might be time for a little work on the way we file those things!    The last day for this deal to be at full value was Friday so we took advantage of it.  It was only for $10.00 so we ordered for 3 adults off the value menu.   Great Deal (I'm glad we didn't miss it).

There was a lot more steak on Thursday than I realized so we had a leftover day on Saturday. This left the day free to babysit our grandchild and can some more tomatoes.

So I'm starting my menu with the Baked Chicken from last week for Sunday.  On Monday we will grill out for 3 days.   We always figure while we are grilling we might as well make it worth our time.


"Baked Chicken" in the Crockpot.  This makes a easy Sunday Meal.  (I will freeze any leftover chicken)


Hot Dogs with Chili  (I believe this is an requirement for Labor Day!)

Salmon Cakes




 Liver and Onions

The garden is still producing cabbages, zucchini, cukes, onions, and peppers.  All great vegetables to help me on the side dishes.
