My Frugal Ways This Past Week 9/24/17

I canned tomatoes and sauerkraut (7 quart jars of each).  I have two more cabbages left in the garden that I can harvest.

We sold 2 items last week both on Facebook groups!  We took a bike from the curb, cleaned it up, and sold it for $45.  Tip:  for the handlebars and fender we used SOS pads to help get the rust sprinkles off.

We closed the blinds during the day to keep the heat out.   Two more days then they say it will be Michigan again!  Then we can complain about the cold⛄.

Won a large box (30 oz) of Goldfish Crackers playing Kroger's Game Day Greats (game is over).  Sorry I didn't remind everyone but I forgot to play this a lot.  I happened to get lucky one day last week when I remembered.  I haven't decided how to use it yet. Maybe I could freeze it in smaller packages?

I filled out surveys for both Kroger and McDonald's.  The McDonald's one was also on the receipt.  It was for a buy one/get one free quarter pounder.

I paid the subscription for our TV subscription ahead for 6 months and saved $10.00.

My Menu for this week is here

Goals for this week:

Can more sauerkraut and tomatoes.  The tomatoes are really ripening now with the hot weather we have been having.

Clean the living room carpet.

Keep crocheting dish scrubbies plus work on travel afghan I started.  I got bored just doing scrubbies and started another project.

What ways have you saved this past week?
