Penny Jar was full so I decided to roll coins instead of taking them to the coin machine. Money saved and it was something to do on a cold night.
Went walking twice in the local malls. Totally free exercise in the winter just make sure you leave your money at home!
Rescheduled our dental cleaning appointments in December to January. We just got notice they will be covered then by our insurance! What a blessing!
Made sure to turn off lights and open curtains when it gets lighter in the morning. My husband and I had quite a discussion on which lights to leave on after reading this article on energy.gov.
During the coldest night this past week my husband and I switched bedrooms. We actually slept in the guest bedroom because it is close to the furnace room and it is quite a bit warmer. Last winter we had rather high energy bills and were told one of our problems was the small heater we use to help with our cold bedroom. I think the other problem may be we live in cold climate!
So we won't get bored with dinner at home I decided this week to find new recipes.
Made enough Swagbucks to get a $5 Amazon card this week. If you need some suggestions on how to make more Swagbucks you read my post How I earn 50 or more Swagbucks each day here. Feel free to leave comments if you have more ways to earn Swagbucks.
What did you do to save money this past week?
