Each week I write down as much as I can remember of the frugal things we do every week.
We sold the chicken coop this past week!
We put the chicken manure in the vegetable garden -free and organic fertilizer.
Sold a jumper at a Mom to Mom sale that I helped my daughter with yesterday. It was given to us and we didn't use it.
With part of that money I bought Lavendar oil at a booth and made an air freshener.
I used a saved jar from peaches and drilled holes in the lid. |
Bought books (50 cents each) at a huge indoor church rummage we went to. I'm not so sure I haven't read a couple of these books but for the price I couldn't go wrong. I will pass them to my sister who loves to read too. Even though I love my kindle I feel like I can take these everywhere!
Stopped using so many drinking glasses this week - not so many dishes to wash so I'm saving time and money. I've had to remind myself as well as others. New ways are hard to remember!
Not so frugal as we thought last week: We went to the our favorite country meat market with our deal on the radio. The prices have really risen to say the least. We came out with a very small bag of meat. Let's say we felt like it wasn't a deal at all.
What ways have you saved this week?
