I don't know what was on my mind when I made up our menu plan last week. Apparently I forgot that we plant the garden on this weekend. Fried chicken with all the fixings.. what was I thinking! I must have been hungry...I'm dreaming up something quick today!
Believe it or not we are still having problem with frost. It's a cool 36 degrees this morning with frost on the windshields. I planted my cabbage plants last night but left the rest of the plants in the garage till it warms up this morning. Of course they can't be sure about the weather but it looks like it will be warmer and no chance of frost in the near future. So I'm taking a chance and planting the rest.
Our grandson slept overnight last night. His first time ever! We had a great time at our bonfire last night for a little while, till we had to run inside to get warmer!
I feel like making something special for breakfast but I know he will want his favorite fried bologna. We've spent a lot of money in that boy's short life already in buying bologna! It has to be Michigan's Koegel's or he won't eat it.
Sunday Date with husband for a day!
Monday Picnic (hopefully if weather is good) Hot dogs, hamburgers, potato chips etc.
Tuesday Leftovers from Picnic
Wednesday Spaghetti (didn't have it last week)
Thursday Homemade Pizza (frozen meal)
Friday Meatloaf (didn't have it last week)
Saturday Fried chicken with all the fixings (I'll try again...it does sound good!)
