My Frugal Ways this Past Week 5/17/15

Husband tilling the garden

I didn't post on Mother's Day last week so this includes two weeks frugal ways.

We had such wonderful weather that we managed to till the garden this past week.

I decided to plant lettuce, radishes, and beets. We will plant everything else closer to Memorial day when the chance of frost should be gone.  The weather has been nice but we just had a freeze on May 13.

flowers on the table from garden

Picked my flowers for our Mother's Day table from my flower garden.

I've made Greek yogurt in the crock pot this week.  This saves me quite a bit of money.

I froze leftover cornbread, bacon, and the vegetables this past week.

Had a garage sale on Saturday and we sold a lot.   I borrowed the tables I used from our church.

My husband got us Wendy's during the sale.  With a deal we got on the radio and coupons from the mail, we both had a meal with drinks for $7.00.

I ordered a $5 Starbucks card through Swagbucks this morning.  I saving for a Christmas or Birthday present.

What ways have you saved this week?
