My Goals for This Week 5/11/15

My Goals for this week

We had a wonderful Mother's day weekend.   I hope you did too!   My daughter took me out to eat on Saturday and then yesterday I made dinner after church for everyone.

I was outside early Sunday morning picking some of my flowers for the table when someone visiting a neighbor asked was I picking my own Mother's Day flowers.   I told him, "I sure am."
They made the table so pretty!

Making a bouquet reminded me so much of my Mom. We always used to pick bouquets from her garden for our table.  This being the first Mother's day without her made it kind of hard.   Oh how I miss her!

We had such nice weather we stayed busy outdoors every day we could last week.  As my husband likes to say, "we rolled."   I guess we did, but it seems I didn't get as much done as I would like.   I found out that you can't do it all in a day or even a week.    So I'm back to my same list with just a little more added to it.   Hopefully I can wipe a lot of it out this coming week!

I decided to break down our bedroom into small jobs. Sometimes if I just list a couple of things to do that is better for me. Then if I happen to get it all done woohoo!

Here is what I want to accomplish this week:

Write a book review.
Write a DIY post this week.
Find out how to give my old kindle to my grandson.  I want to erase my christian romance books that are on that one and have kids books downloaded to it (love all the free ones).  Lucky he doesn't know I'm giving this to him because it's taking me so long.
Hang out the laundry as many times as I can
Clean our bedroom.
Buy and Spread mulch and white rocks around flowers.
We are going to make a small patio where the chicken coop was for our outdoor swing and chairs.   I want to buy the patio stones when I buy the mulch.   (Husband managed to level the ground but we didn't get to the buying the stones)
Keep exercising at least twice a week.   So far so good.  I'm counting watching the grand baby on this one. She keeps us very active! (we love every minute).
Earn at least 15 Swagbucks a day.

Things I got done that were not on my list!

Planted some seeds (lettuce, radishes, and beets).

Moved the patio stones from the chicken coop area to where the water spigot is in the back of the house.

Cleaned the front porch, top to bottom.
