Pictures of our Week So Far: The Kitchen Table

It all begins at the table at our house,  We eat, talk, work, play games, and get ready for the next day. I thought it would be fun to show how things are going so far this week, explained with pictures of our kitchen table.

Sunday morning bright and early the table is clean and I've put things on the table so I won't forget to take them to church.    The bag is full of magazines that I take and leave in the foyer at church.  Not sure where they go, but they are gone in a instant. So glad they are read again.  You can see a card that my youngest daughter gave me the previous night.  When you open it plays, This is My Story. She knows I love gospel music.

Before I left for church I had the table set.   I decided we would get "fancy" and use my china for Mother's Day.  We don't do that as often as we should.  The flowers came from my flower garden.  I relocated the card to the fireplace mantel.

Mid week chaos has taken over.   After going on a field trip with handsome grandson I came in the door and started helping my husband with beautiful granddaughter.  This is a picture of when they all went home.  My purse which always seems to go on the table, the small piece of cake leftover from Mother's day finished right from the pan by the grandson, and that's the  husband's coke laying on it's side (thank goodness it was empty),

Then last night I decided maybe I better get some tags ready for our garage sale Saturday.   One place mat is missing because of a spill of honey. a pacifier, bobby pins, flowers are losing their buds, and then of course ....my purse.

I would take another picture this morning but nothing has changed.  It looks exactly the same as it did last night except the flowers are now in the compost!

Does your table look like this?
