Thanks for helping support Vickie's Kitchen and Garden!
We went to some estate and garage sales Saturday. I was able to buy this cute little birdhouse at one of them for $4.00. We were ready to go another couple of hours but it started raining hard and the fun was done for the day.
The rain also slowed us down with the outdoor work and I'm so glad it did. The garden needed the rain and I needed to clean inside! It does help to have days were your not outside all day. I could do landscaping all day and the inside of house could go downhill fast!
This will be my before picture of my flower garden in the front yard. Hope to plant with summer plants soon! |
Here is what I accomplished last week:
Write a recipe post.
Find out how to give my old kindle to my grandson. I want to erase my christian romance books that are on that one and have kids books downloaded to it. (love all the free ones) Lucky he doesn't know I'm giving this to him because it's taking me so long. Poor thing! I'm going to take this off the list for the summer when I'll have more time.
Finish spreading mulch and white rocks around flowers.
Start making the patio.
Here is what I hope to accomplish this week:
Office Work
Write a book review.
Write a recipe post.
Cleaning the home & Spring Cleaning
Hang out the laundry as many times as I can.
Cleaning the bedroom
1. Wash walls
2. Clean carpet
Clean the side refrigerator shelves.
Personal Goals
Keep exercising at least twice a week. So far so good. I'm counting watching the grand baby on this one. She keeps us very active! (we love every minute).
Earn at least 15 Swagbucks a day.
I seriously need to get back with my diet plan (Trim Healthy Mama). It's a head thing for me...I eat when I'm stressed. So I will try my best to get my head together this week!
Make a teacher gift for my grandson's teacher and also for the lovely ladies that greet us at the door.
Outdoor work!! (all depending on weather)
Finish spreading mulch and white rocks around flowers.
Plant the front flower garden and weed vegetable garden as needed.
Start making the patio.
What are your goals for this week?
