I'm keeping my eye out on this zucchini in my garden. I'll pick it tomorrow and use it for spaghetti. There are many blooms out there so I have high hopes.
Some of the beans have made it to the top of the pole. The others are catching up!
The rattlesnake green beans are doing well for the most part. The weeds though keep trying to take over. With the moisture we have I will now start picking them up because they seem to regrow right on the spot. I'll put them in the compost pile, instead of putting them to dry and die in the sun.
Everyday possible I'm out there pulling weeds. It's either raining, too hot, run out by hordes of mosquitos, or we have something planned. I have all the excuses. I just gave up and hired some help.
I asked the wonderful grandson, would you like to help me in the garden? Before he could shake his little head no, I said, I'll pay you. He went right for it. Here he is helping me cover up the lettuce seeds with a rake. He's a lot of fun!
How's your garden coming?
