I've determined this week that canning green beans is harder than all the rest of the vegetables. The picking, stringing, and then breaking them up, can wear a body out.
It's always great when you have a helpers though. My husband, grandson, and daughter all pitched in making the job a lot easier this past week. We had a lot of fun in the process.
Just a note: I will not remember any of this when we crack open our first can of green beans this winter!
Here is what I accomplished this past week:
Write another guest post. I'm working on it now!
Clean the den- Just a little bit more and I'm done!
Start harvesting cabbage for sauerkraut. Too early last week.
Read the Bible more.

Cleaning the home & Spring Cleaning Summer Cleaning
Hang out the laundry as many times as I can.
Clean the den- Just a little bit more and I'm done! (did work on this but very little)

Garden work

Make salsa with the tomatoes and the peppers. I canned some this morning.

Personal Goals
Earn at least 15 Swagbucks a day. Since I've been doing this I've earned three $5.00 gift cards! Many times I earn more than 15.
On back on my diet plan (Trim Healthy Mama). I'm working on this every day. I'm not perfect but I keep trying!
Read the Bible more.
