Not too much to report this week with Christmas but here are a few of the ways I saved.
I made our beautiful granddaughter some doll clothes by making over some onesies that we had too many of. I will be looking for garage sale finds too this summer to remake. I think it would make a great Christmas present for her, a doll with a wardrobe! I know...this may be thinking way too far ahead!
We went out to eat on Sunday (oldest daughter's treat) and when we left we were given 12 rolls. I saved them for Christmas Dinner.
I've been making more of effort to use coupons and get great grocery deals.
Kroger: Bought Tide Pods (5) for $1.49 after $2.00 coupons. One was a digital coupon -other were manufacturer coupons given to me at Meijer by a sample table.
Aldi shopping - Bought Hamburger for $2.00 a pound (5 Pound packages) and bought a ham for $6.00 (we chopped it up and froze it for lunch meat, omelette's, etc).
Meijer bought reduced Christmas Freezer Ziploc bags for $1.49 each. We will use these all year round! I used one coupon I had for $1.00 off two.
What ways did you save this past week?
