Here is the list of my frugal ways I've saved this past week:
A couple of weeks ago my printer quit working and I finally got a chance to look up the cause on the manufacturer website. A simple quick fix of just unplugging it for a few minutes and it started working again. I had to stop quite a few printing jobs because they were no longer relevant (like Valentine bingo for the grandson).
Cut my bangs. When I curl them you don't notice my mistakes often!
Used a shopping bag for the trash.
Downloaded digital coupons to my Kroger card -I always download the ones I think I might buy every week and look at the sales to match up later in the week.
Cut coupons from the free newspaper that is thrown in the driveway. Last week the only coupon I found that we would use was the $1.00/3 coupon for the General Mills Cereal. This coupon actually got us a free gallon of milk too. Total saved $3.50! Cereal was on sale for 3/$6.00 with a free gallon of milk.
I took the survey on the bottom of the Kroger receipt for 50 more fuel points.
I bought two like new end tables for our bedroom for $50.00 at an estate sale. They were a lot nicer than the ones I found on line and cheaper! My favorite part is that they were put together. I hate to have to assemble everything.
As I'm Spring cleaning I'm also stashing things away for our garage sale this spring. Old end tables are included.
