I've never thought about yearly goals before this year. It's a brand new experience and it's keeping me on my toes. I've tried resolutions and I never think about them again after the first two weeks. This is totally different ...something inside me wants to achieve these goals and knock them out of the ballpark.
So here is how it's going for me so far:
My #1 goal is to be the best wife, mother, grandmother, I can but here is where I step outside the box this year (not in any order):
2. Volunteer. I always just give but I would like to do both this year. I want to get out there and help a charity. Not necessarily every week but I would like to volunteer as much as I can.
Jan.- I've started crocheting hats for preemies in the hospital. They are having a Mickey Mouse challenge in my crochet for charity group on facebook.
3. Get healthier. Eat better, exercise more!
We exercise by walking in the mall with grandbaby at least 2 or 3 times a week. I'm still working on the healthy eating part.
|She calls the fountain a bath every time we walk by.|
4. Remodel the house a little (bathroom needs wallpaper and our bedroom needs
Jan. -No spend January just got over and we are doing a low spend February. We hope to start remodeling on Easter Break.
5. Improve this blog -redesign, keep learning, etc. I have some great readers and commenters here on this blog and I want to make it a great place to visit. I'm so thankful for each and every one of you!
Jan.- Blogging has been great but it's a learning expierence for sure! I'm learning more about twitter (just last week I gained 60 followers), I'm working more on Pinterest, and considering adding a facebook page. That somehow scares me...I'm not sure why.
