Spring has sprung in full force in Michigan and it's just beautiful. That means though the temperatures are all over the place. We were down in the lower 30's last night and a frost warning was issued. I brought in all my potted plants and put them in the garage. I also covered up my strawberries because they had so many blooms on them.
Instead of going to the store again to get things we needed I used the groceries we had on hand. I used cheddar cheese instead of the usual Swiss we like for steak sandwiches.
I also shredded some cheddar slices when we ran out of block cheese.
I requested a book from the library for a book chat.
I sewed the seams on the sleeves on a blouse that I bought at a garage sale. It was so pretty except the short sleeves were left open. Simple fix for a brand new looking blouse.
I ordered a free kids book from Tyndale Rewards with my points.
What Was On the Dinner Table:

My Goals for this Week:
In the garden:
I need to buy just 3 more bags of mulch to lay down. I hope to lay down white rocks too around the pathways.
Go to the elementary school and start work on my garden plot when it warms up again.
In the kitchen:
I realized when I donated food this week that I need to clean out the pantry. It seems like I just did this -time flies!
Write a book review.
What frugal things have you done so far this week?
