My Frugal Ways this Past week,What Was On the Dinner Table and My Goals for the Week 9/4/16!
The mustard greens in our garden are doing great and I hope to can some this week. Last night I picked a peck for dinner today.
My mouse for my computer was messing up and I was having a hard time typing. Ready to head to the store I happened to look in my desk drawer and found one that my husband had bought at a sale. I always tell him not too buy too much stuff. Then of course I need something and he has it. Yep, he loves that!
We took the grand kids bowling for free last week. The bowling was free in our area for seniors and their grandchildren. Sometimes it just hits me and I think, oh my goodness I'm considered a senior! Really, when you think about it, I'm blessed!
Took the survey on the bottom of the Kroger receipt.
Bought chicken breast marked down at $1.19 a pound. Dinner today!
Saved the baggies from the pizza pockets and washed them.
Menu: What was on the table last week:
Monday Spaghetti
Tuesday Freezer meal -pizza pockets
Wednesday out to eat
Thursday out to eat
Friday leftovers
Saturday Grilled Rosemary Pork Chops and fried potatoes.
Sunday Grilled Italian Marinated Chicken, mustard greens, corn on the cob, and rolls.
My Goals for this week:
In the Home:
Make some more freezer meals. I plan to make some ahead on the grill on Monday.
Clean the car (detail). At least get 1/2 done!
Plan a garage sale (I have been fall cleaning).
Can mustard greens.
Family:
On a cooler night have a bonfire with the grand kids. This is still on the agenda - we were too tired from the day time last week to think about a night time bonfire!
Blog:
Write a book review.
What ways have you saved this past week?
