My Frugal Ways this Past Week 11/13/16!

We have had a beautiful fall this year.  We have tried getting out as much as we can to enjoy it even if that means just walking down the street.   This past week though we took a stroll at the nature preserve by us.  Free exercise and relaxation close by!

I started raking leaves this past week and putting them in the garden.  The neighbor also put his leaves in our garden.

We picked one last bunch of mustard greens before a big frost.   It got down to 19 degrees one night.

Husband glued my knob back together that belonged on my slow cooker.

I used my heating pad for rising my bread dough when I made sub buns for our steak and onion.  This saves me from heating the big oven.   You can read more about that here.

I bought a children's organizer that was marked down to $20 because it was a display model. This will help hold a few toys and their extra clothes that the grandchildren need here.
