Here are the ways I saved this past week:
Spring is just beautiful this year in Michigan but the temperatures are still bouncing back and forth. On Thursday I was able to hang out three loads of clothes to dry in the sunny/windy weather. Two hours later we had a temperature drop of 20 degrees! They all managed to dry though and smelled so nice!
I made two vegetarian lasagna's (one to freeze). I realize now though without meat that I need garlic bread and a salad to go with it.
I completed the Kroger survey for more fuel points.
I ordered a free dishcloth from twine with my Recyclebank points.
I went to a grand opening of Family dollar with my husband and we both got $5.00 gift cards. We paired that with the $5 off $25 coupon and bought some great deals.
I went to local library and bought 5 used books for $1.00 at their sale.
I received and spent the two JC Penny $10 of $10 coupons that came in the mail.
My menu this past week:
Monday Pork, sauerkraut, potatoes
Tuesday Honey Mustard Chicken Bacon Salad
Wednesday Out to Eat
Thursday Vegetarian Lasagna
Friday Grilled hot dogs, hamburgers
Saturday Leftover hot dogs or hamburgers
Sunday Fish and Chips
Goals for this next week (Some of this may look familiar. I'm feeling better so I'm ready to tackle the list).
Home:
Clean guest room-I'm only half done
Keep putting items up for sale- we are cleaning the garage slowly.
Plant flowers and mulch trees. (I got half of this done last week).
Finish and hand in my test for Master Gardening.
Blog:
Read and review a book.
